Well wake up in the morning-

Ok afternoon

Time slides by as I lay in my room

It's a wonder how easily she becomes my friend

As I work on nothing and wonderin

will this flounderin ever end

living in a world of iniquity

living in a world of an-o-nymity

Can't believe i worked so hard for this

getting so close but in the end a miss

In a world of all and everything

looking and seeing and getting nothing

so monday slips to friday

but keep praying it'll be my day

but loving the life i'm livin

and leisurely i'm drivin

to do the things that please me

one day you'll see

what i want and what i love to do

maybe right now or in a day or two

this responsibilty creeping up on me

climbing up my back...here comes the reality

so I check into my own dream motel... a place of fiction and with a lot to tell

a place for fun and not alot gets done but ya party all day, till ya see the sun

It' ain't black...it aint white it aint blue it's outta sight

It aint pink....it aint gray cuz day after day after day

it aint nothin at all as night becomes day

and it's amazin that this happens with all this education

that the best education i get on my own

in a world of all this and everything there is

like bubbles in a soda it starts to fizz

yeah hard to believe that i got nothin to bring

so i lay another rhyme and begin to sing

with a little bit of hope and a little bit of action

with a whole lot of heart and a whole lot of passion

comes a little bit of vision that takes you on a mission

to see your way up outta that room

into a brand new world and no not too dang soon

But doing it my way they always ask me....
