We Are

One thought began all this life we have to give

Push past all the hurt and learn to truly live

This existence a privilege we take advantage of

Feel the presence of the truth shining down from above

Joy comes from a place that can be hard to find

Look and see the beauty and keep it on your mind

Behind the haze and pace of where we go each day

Let gladness well from deep inside be free to sing and play

No matter what looks you get from others all around

Jumping up and dancing, even shouting does abound

We are here for the one who spoke us all to be

Truly give him all you are not afraid who may see

Trust in what you know and not in what you feel

No condemnation for the things you've done so real

The truth of who you are, created purposefully

Your weakness made so perfect, strength given willingly

Set free, believe, why try, just be

Let go, reprieve, still cannot foresee

A choice of pride a slave to self

Humility, inherits wealth

Forever His, once chosen

Free from sin, and broken

We are what we choose
